Robla Solo MIL has proven itself even in tough military use and is unsurpassed as a barrel cleaner!
Due to excellent test results from the Bundeswehr Institute of Military Science, Robla Solo MIL is even used by special troops.
Robla Solo MIL consists of a special combination with ammonia. These not only loosen smears of copper, tombac, and zinc but also lead, the No. 1 enemy for weapon precision. Steel, chrome, and nickel are not attacked by Robla Solo MIL.
Application:
In the case of metal deposits:
- Insert Robla Solo MIL into the barrel closed on one side with a cork or rubber stopper (recommendation: Ballistol rubber cork) and leave it for several hours, preferably overnight in the case of extreme smearing.
- Always fill the barrel to the brim.
- For less smearing, repeated pulling of Robla Solo MIL (e.g., with Ballistol felts, tow, or running line) is sufficient.
Important Notes:
- Never leave the barrel for a long time if it is only moistened with Robla Solo MIL. The ammonia contained evaporates, and the remaining water in combination with organic salts can cause pitting corrosion.
- A barrel completely filled with Robla Solo MIL can be stored overnight without hesitation.
- A green-to-blue color indicates dissolved copper and tombac, while lead and zinc dissolve without color.
After cleaning:
- Dry the barrel thoroughly multiple times and spray it with Ballistol Universal Oil, Gunex, or GunCer.
- After the dry pull-through, ensure the barrel is oiled to prevent pitting on the inner surface.
