The tactical pocket knife was designed by Alessandra De Santis aka Hydra Design, part of Hydra Armaments, a family-owned company from northern Italy specializing in weapon accessories and tactical equipment. The experienced knife enthusiast has been collecting, testing and comparing countless knives since the age of 14 and has authored numerous articles in a wide range of industry magazines. As a professional industrial chemist, she brings deep knowledge of steels and materials, and she is also passionate about firearms and practices Filipino Martial Arts. Her modern designs combine all this experience, making the Yokai an extraordinary knife. The modified Tanto blade made of D2 steel has a durable black coating, opens via flipper and is securely locked with a sturdy linerlock. The handle scales, textured in a modern honeycomb pattern, offer a firm grip even in bad weather. Additional grip is provided by the ribbed thumb ramp and ergonomic finger recess. A red aluminum spacer adds a bold accent.
